April Vignettes

Our 16th season continues in April with concerts featuring our latest program, Vignettes. In this one-hour immersive listening experience, each of the pieces you hear tells a story or evokes a sense of place using different musical styles. From Beethoven’s playful “Kakadu Variations” to Chick Corea’s “Children’s Songs” and William Grant Still’s six “Vignettes” – each of which conjures a musical image of different places and peoples across the Americas – you will be transported by the power of music and imagination, as if gazing at tiny portraits, or vignettes.
